Just like twins
My boy and my girl share the same horoscope ie Cancer. Their birthdays are just a week apart. Believe me, up till now they still don't celebrate their birthdays together. I would have to buy their birthday cakes separately.
When they were young, I had a hard time taking care of them. Luckily my mum was with me. She took care of my boy whereas I sent my girl to a baby-sitter.
She was 7 years old then..
Now she's 18 years old.
Here he was only 6 years old..
Now he's already 17 years old.
My boy just told me his SPM trial exam results.
He has improved a bit.
He still has to show better results for his SPM.
All the best, my boy!
Haha..shared birthday celebration is no fun lah. :p good luck to your boy.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should have his/her own birthday cake..
DeleteGreat to look back at their younger years... so much has changed..
ReplyDeleteTime has changed..now they look at their photos in the computer..
DeleteAll the best to your boy SPM...
ReplyDeleteMy friend told me O level starts on 16th Oct, wonder is it the same timing as Malaysia?
ReplyDeleteSPM starts in Nov..
DeleteGood morning Wenn, good to hear your son's result has improved. All the best to him!
ReplyDeleteMore special to have own birthday cake instead of sharing. Must be quite tiring for you to be pregnant back to back with them but those days have passed and you can look back with happiness.
Have a nice day!
It was indeed tiring but now that they have grown, my life is so much easier..
DeleteAll the best to your boy!! Now both kids grown up you also "senang".
ReplyDeleteat least they are more independent now..
DeleteI did my SPM better than the trial exams! So your boy will surely pass with flying colours!!
ReplyDeletemaybe trial exam is so much harder than the real exam..
DeleteHaving birthdays and birth years too close will give parents headaches. Remember I mentioned that my parents had a hard time sending both my brother and sister overseas at one time as they were born 2 years apart. Your ATM is richer than my ATM father! Muahahahaha
ReplyDeleteyes, it's financially a burden to us too..
DeleteThe old photos are nice! You looked like a teenager! Did you marry at 15?
ReplyDeleteoh, I was not in the photo..
Deleteparents sure want all the kids to have birthdays close to each other, save the trouble of having multiple celebrations within short period huh?? but kids surely doesn't wish to celebrate together (unless exactly on the same day) cos everyone sure wish to be the only star of the day right?? :p
ReplyDeleteI would prefer their birthdays to be spread out..
Deletei thought it's your boy's and girl's birthday, but you mentioned Cancer, so i guess they were over for this year already?? hey, didn't see you in the photo?? or were you one of them in there that i thought must be just a girl?? :p
ReplyDeletehaha, I was always the photographer..
Deleteso nice of you to buy them separate birthday cake. most parents would lump together :)
ReplyDeleteI always prefer to celebrate on their actual dates..
DeleteWhoa, good memories! Two parties, two cakes, mah.
ReplyDeleteCancerians are very balanced people. You timed your babies right, Wenn.
oh, I didn't time my boy's birthdate..he was born a little early..
DeleteHi Wenn.
ReplyDeleteTime flies fast. My boy is still 7 years old. Huhu.
soon he's grown up..
DeleteYou had a pair of great kids. All the best to ur boy in his SPM.
ReplyDeletethanks..
DeleteAll the best to him!!! =]
ReplyDeleteGood luck to your boy!!
