One memorable day

I drove to Taiping at 11am this morning. Reached at about 11.45am. My mum was ready to go out with us. Since I was on the way to town, I decided to turn in to Kg Boyan. I had Yan's address with me. So I thought it wouldn't be difficult for me to find her house and give her a surprise. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it. Furthermore, it was raining.

I gave up and we adjourned to the Casual Market for our lunch..

Mum had char siew rice, my girl had fried kueh teow and I had mee rebus.

My mum was all smiles. I didn't hear her cough at all 
as she had drank the bird's nest which I boiled at home.

After lunch, I thought I might as well try to find Yvonne's house. I managed to find Taman Saga but I just couldn't locate the Taman Tasek Jaya. Gave up too and we went to the Store. Shopped some t-shirts for my girl and some new clothes for myself.

When we were about to leave, it was raining so heavily. After a while, it stopped. So I made my way back home. I actually still hadn't given up. I gave another shot to locate Yan's house. This time I must have got lost. A kind Samaritan actually led me back to the main road!

Reached my mum's place but we continued to my aunt's place. Left my mum there and we headed home..


aww..it was so misty on our way home..


Reached home, picked up my boy and we went for dinner.
Simple yet Scrumptious! They only cost me RM25!

Btw, I had checked through all the comments for the month
and it seems only 3 person actually commented on my every post.

    hahaha!! i was actually imagining both of the gorgeous lady are in their most "baliar" home clothes and messiest hair, holding up their magic wand high in the air, shouting at the children when they see someone familiar at the door!! that would be real funny~~ :D

      I find Taiping people very friendly too. The other time went with Claire and we got lost ...a boy lead us all the way to the restaurant

    You are such a good daughter to visit your mum so often. She looks young and healthy. How I wished my mum is still young like her. Mine is sickly and 82 years old!

Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
