Tune Hotel Danga Bay

We started our journey at 6.30am on Friday, 7 Dec 12. Made a stop every now and then to relax and when we reached Tune Hotel, it was already 2pm. Just on time to check in.

My friend and her daughter from Segamat were already at the hotel lobby waiting for me. They couldn't get a room for themselves so I offered them to stay with us.

I had booked two joined rooms for ourselves but my mum and my boy couldn't make it.

We stayed in this room..

while my friend and her girl stayed in this room.

Well, they are simple rooms with no add-ons. That means we don't use the tv, no towels but got fan and AC.

No wifi too but I paid RM12 for a day usage.

Not too bad as the beds were comfortable. I paid RM348 for the two rooms for two nights. Quite reasonable, right? Btw, no breakfast too.

  2. yeah, the room looks clean and tidy.. and i think this is the most important thing i will look for.. other amenities are just bonus, afterall i don't think you will be spending much time in the hotel room..

  3. haha, yeah.. just like onboard AirAsia, everything is money in a Tune's Hotel.. you get all the basic things, but if you need slightly anything extra, then you've gotta pay for everything you use.. well, good and bad..

  4. too bad your mum and your boy couldn't make it.. anyway, you have your friend and her daughter, so this will be an all girls' out in the legoland!! hahaha~~

  13. Looking good for that price its OK. Normally people would prefer to eat out tasting the local food. As long as room is clean, price & security is OK, its OK with Bananaz.

  14. Interesting!

I have never stayed in any tune hotel. At least I can get a rough idea of this hotel through your blog post.

I think not many people use free WiFi nowadays since most people with smart phones subscribe to internet with their Sim Card.

    Have a nice day.

  15. I have stayed at Tune Hotel near KLIA and it was pretty clean. The bed was comfy too. Only problem with this no frill hotel is no aircon, no wifi, no breakfast, no toiletries. All also must pay!! Well, stay for 1 night is OK, more than 1 night I can't take it haha!

  20. The rooms look nice and comfortable but it is not that cheap. Maybe you had to book like 6 months ahead to get them cheap.

  21. I remember booking for less than RM100 for the Penang's Tune Hotel. I booked it like 10 months ahead and I was happy to book 2 nights! Guess what? I could not visit Penang as I went overseas!!! I WASTED RM200!!!! hu hu hu hu!

    What a lesson to learn.

  22. I find this AirAsia's no frills concept on their planes and hotels is good & absurd sometimes. There have been rumours that we will have to pay when we use their toilets inside the plane soon. How ridiculous!!!!

    1. that's ridiculous indeed..toilet is basic necessity.
