Tune Hotel Danga Bay
We started our journey at 6.30am on Friday, 7 Dec 12. Made a stop every now and then to relax and when we reached Tune Hotel, it was already 2pm. Just on time to check in.
I had booked two joined rooms for ourselves but my mum and my boy couldn't make it.
My friend and her daughter from Segamat were already at the hotel lobby waiting for me. They couldn't get a room for themselves so I offered them to stay with us.
I had booked two joined rooms for ourselves but my mum and my boy couldn't make it.
We stayed in this room..
while my friend and her girl stayed in this room.
Well, they are simple rooms with no add-ons. That means we don't use the tv, no towels but got fan and AC.
No wifi too but I paid RM12 for a day usage.
Not too bad as the beds were comfortable. I paid RM348 for the two rooms for two nights. Quite reasonable, right? Btw, no breakfast too.
Room look rather nice.
ReplyDeleteyes, they looked good..
Deletewow, you are in JB now already.. what a long drive all the way down south.. hope you get a good night rest tonight, then fully recharge for tomorrow's fun!!
ReplyDeleteoh..I have been to JB last friday and I were back yesterday..
Deleteyeah, the room looks clean and tidy.. and i think this is the most important thing i will look for.. other amenities are just bonus, afterall i don't think you will be spending much time in the hotel room..
ReplyDeletefor me too..the bed needs to be clean..
Deletehaha, yeah.. just like onboard AirAsia, everything is money in a Tune's Hotel.. you get all the basic things, but if you need slightly anything extra, then you've gotta pay for everything you use.. well, good and bad..
ReplyDeleteexactly like AirAsia..
Deletetoo bad your mum and your boy couldn't make it.. anyway, you have your friend and her daughter, so this will be an all girls' out in the legoland!! hahaha~~
ReplyDeletenice to have all girls' outing..
DeleteAs long as the rooms are clean, it would be ok for me. Enjoy your holiday!
ReplyDeletetrue..
Deletewell the first room looks kinda classy
ReplyDeletewhile second looks kinda usual
well it has a pretty cool exterior
I like its exterior design..
Deleteno tv + no wifi = boredom to me haha
ReplyDeletebut since you have your company anyway so i guess you can enjoy those rooms
actually..would love to have both..
Deleteno break fast too? so basically it seems like a sleeping quarters huh
ReplyDeletegood thing bed is kinda comfortable for you
I wish i was familiar of your currency to know whether its reasonable or not
cheap so no breakfast provided..
Deletehave a great day and happy blogging wenn,
ReplyDeletegod bless you and take the best of care always
thanks..you too..
Deletehey Wenn..not too bad.. as long as clean and comfy, it is all that counts..
ReplyDeletevery true..
DeleteYea room looks neat and simple, but alot of 'No'... No free wifi, no breakfast and so on.. hehe.
ReplyDeleteAnyway price is reasonable~
yea, haven't been to this kind of hotel before..
DeleteNot bad...the tunes in JB also provides buses to SG and Legoland, i heard.
ReplyDeletewe need to pay for the bus..RM30 return ticket to USS.
DeleteLooking good for that price its OK. Normally people would prefer to eat out tasting the local food. As long as room is clean, price & security is OK, its OK with Bananaz.
ReplyDeleteprice is ok as I booked earlier with discount..
DeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteI have never stayed in any tune hotel. At least I can get a rough idea of this hotel through your blog post.
I think not many people use free WiFi nowadays since most people with smart phones subscribe to internet with their Sim Card.
Have a nice day.
oh..I still need wifi..
DeleteI have stayed at Tune Hotel near KLIA and it was pretty clean. The bed was comfy too. Only problem with this no frill hotel is no aircon, no wifi, no breakfast, no toiletries. All also must pay!! Well, stay for 1 night is OK, more than 1 night I can't take it haha!
ReplyDeleteI usually bring my own towels and toiletries..
DeleteI seem quite reasonable especially now is peak season leh
ReplyDeleteI booked earlier so it's reasonable..
DeleteYa since whole day will be out so no point to pay all the extra for things that you dont need to use
ReplyDeletetrue..just need the wifi..
DeleteOoo wifi RM12 a day ah? Hmmm a bit mahal wor...
ReplyDeleteno choice even though we just used for a short while..
Deletenevertheless most important is that the rooms are clean la.
ReplyDeletetrue..I won't mind staying there again..
DeleteThe rooms look nice and comfortable but it is not that cheap. Maybe you had to book like 6 months ahead to get them cheap.
ReplyDeleteI thought it's already cheap..
DeleteI remember booking for less than RM100 for the Penang's Tune Hotel. I booked it like 10 months ahead and I was happy to book 2 nights! Guess what? I could not visit Penang as I went overseas!!! I WASTED RM200!!!! hu hu hu hu!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lesson to learn.
oh, you should have given away your room to someone else.
DeleteI find this AirAsia's no frills concept on their planes and hotels is good & absurd sometimes. There have been rumours that we will have to pay when we use their toilets inside the plane soon. How ridiculous!!!!
ReplyDeletethat's ridiculous indeed..toilet is basic necessity.
