Old Cucumber Soup
It's very easy to boil old cucumber soup. Soaked it first before I cleaned the skin.
I soaked the red dates too..
Then I cut the old cucumber into 5 pieces..
Then I halved the pieces..
The inside (seeds) had to be removed..
Got ready the chicken..
Cut the red dates into halves..
Put them to boil for about two hours..
The soup..

Good morning Wenn,
ReplyDeleteI assume you are working in your shop now (Saturday 10.45am). I seldom drink soup but I like to eat the old cucumber including the skin in the old cucumber soup.
I love this! Yummy, healthy and cooling!
ReplyDeleteGood that you remove the chicken skin. I also remove the chicken skin when I cook. See the chicken skin I removed in this post:

DeleteI think I drank this soup no more than 5 times in my whole life. I seldom see this soup at dinner functions and the word Old Cucumber discouraged my attention to order it.
ReplyDeleteIf they use the words Healthy Cucumber or Longevity Cucumber in the menus, I will surely order them.
DeleteI have started cooking simple meals again this year after getting influenced by so many bloggers. I think I will try to make ABC soup tonight and Old Cucumber soup next week.
