Beautiful Sunday at Thames Barrier
Initially I refused to join my girl for her church anniversary. But since my friends were coming to pick me from the campus, I had to go along.
a group of singers for the church service
my girl loved singing but I just enjoyed taking photos
Not long after, my friends reached and they took me to Greenwich for lunch. We went to SaiKei for dim sum.
quite delicious too as they were warm
After lunch, we went to view the Thames Barrier..
parking fee was needed
I just knew about the story at that time
see how unique the design
they neatly lined up
a shot from behind as we were curious to find out
Later my friends sent me back. My girl was already famished waiting for me.
We went for our dinner at Galleria which was the nearest eatery.

The next day, ie a Monday, we stayed in Hatfield itself before we got ready for the big day on the Tuesday.

DeleteHello Wenn,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the info and photos on the Thames Barrier. Really look interesting. Did you ask to visit there or your friends suggested that you visit there?
oh, I didn't suggest anything. Both my friends just brought me there..
DeleteI have seen the Thames Barrier on TV's documentary few times. I must say that it was a remarkable and impressive structure that even attracted the China's govt to study and address the floodings over the basins along Yangtze Kiang river.
