Christmas Hamper
When I came back from my UK trip and back to work immediately on the 29 Nov, I was welcomed with some news. It was considered a bad news according to one of my staff.
I had to complete a mission right after I stepped into the shop. I had to wrap some hampers which I felt it's solely my responsibility. So I kept on hold the supposedly bad news.
I had to complete a mission right after I stepped into the shop. I had to wrap some hampers which I felt it's solely my responsibility. So I kept on hold the supposedly bad news.
Later when I was a bit relaxed, I welcomed the bad news. The boss had ordered some stuff for me which I have to utilise for making the basket hampers.
I felt it was alright but I had no idea how to do it. Never mind, I patiently waited for the materials to arrive.
Finally it arrived last Friday. I was curious and started to play with it.
My first basket hamper was a tragedy. It didn't turn out well. I continued with the next one and kept on doing till yesterday. Few days ago, I got some information from you-tube. I roughly got a better idea.
Hamper number 9: my last but not least masterpiece as at yesterday.
More to come!
More to come!
Honestly, I was satisfied as finally I got it right..even the boss said that this basket was the best!
Something to celebrate: I took my boy and girl for a treat at Sushi King!
Ok, guessing game again.
How much is this hamper?
wow, even the "hamper master" also had a hard time with the materials the boss ordered and only the 9th one was considered successful.. hmmm, must be something challenging but yet very special huh?? congratulations, deserve a treat for yourself at Sushi King.. did you ask the boss to pay for it?? :p
ReplyDeleteyes, making the basket hamper with the cellophane wrap is rather tricky. The top part is easy to wrap but not the sides. Finally I knew how to do it perfectly well. I'm only satisfied when it's done correctly.
DeleteGood morning Wenn,
ReplyDeleteSo what is the bad news? Having to wrap hampers using baskets with handles?
My guess is RM298 for this hamper.
Good move to watch youtube to find out more ways to make hampers using baskets and then practice makes perfect. Well deserved celebration at Sushi King!
yes, that was the bad news according to my staff but to me it's a challenge.
DeleteThe hamper is rather cheap.
DeleteGood morning wenn!
ReplyDeleteTo me you're very good in wrapping hampers already, I know nothing about it, haha xD
Hmm, I guess the hamper is about RM 199.
Previously, I had mastered the older kind of hamper wrapping. But this basket wrapping is rather tedious initially.
DeleteIt's not that expensive.
Deletei guess is rm 300~
ReplyDeleteThat's too expensive.
DeleteRM250 for the hamper.
ReplyDeleteSushi time! I want!!
That's indeed very expensive.
DeleteHappy weekend to you and family!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Wenn...
ReplyDeleteYou are good in wrapping hampers...
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend...
ReplyDeleteHello Wenn, practice makes perfect!! I am very poor in wrapping presents, lest hampers... hahhaa.. my guess for this hamper is around 150rm.. ? :)
ReplyDeleteno, it's so much cheaper.
Delete180? :)
ReplyDeleteIt's less than a hundred.
DeleteGood morning Wenn,
ReplyDeleteSo can I guess again? RM89.
good morning, Mun.
DeleteIt's still cheaper than that.
Wow....it must be difficult to wrap the hamper.
ReplyDeleteLet me guess...RM101? :D
ReplyDeleteno, it's so much cheaper.
DeleteWow! You mean to say your hamper is ard RM50 only and yet look impresdive? Lol.
ReplyDeleteyes, the items are not very expensive.
Deleteok wenn, I guess again. RM68.
ReplyDeletewow, you finally got it right! Bravo!
DeleteThanks! :D
DeleteWow, congrats on that!!! =]
DeleteI'm late here I will be guessing it about RM68?
ReplyDeletesorry about that..
DeleteRM68 is fairly reasonable eh with the basket. At least they charged RM100-RM150 for those with basket one.
ReplyDeleteI'm a first timer so should charge a little reasonable..
DeleteCan see from here, sparkling juice, cadbury chocolates, waffers and etc...plus the basket I would charge it a lil bit higher, maybe about RM88. This is due to your material you use for the hampers - good quality of paper bows you've got there....
ReplyDeleteI will definitely charge higher when I hv excelled in my wrapping.
DeleteLike your new wallpaper....
ReplyDeletethanks..
DeleteI'm late for this guessing game!!! But I always like to see how you wrap the hamper!!! =]
ReplyDeletemaybe I will show you one day..
DeleteYou have become a Queen of Hampers! I see that you have wrapped so many now. Why don't you ask us how many hampers you have wrapped?? I might guess 500!!!
ReplyDeletehaha..but I don't keep track..
