All Maroon

What a coincidence! Yesterday I was wearing a maroon t-shirt to work. I just grabbed a bag and it's maroon. It was so sunny so I took an umbrella and it was maroon on the inside! 

Maroon reminds me of the band "Maroon 5'


Yesterday I checked through our file containing the insurance stuff of my family such as the statements and receipts. I was checking through the Great Eastern receipts of my son and I noticed that I don't have the 2012 receipt.

When I asked my husband about it, he said I should know better since I'm handling them. But I didn't receive any premium notice and I must have forgotten all about it.

So I called up the office and I was told that I didn't pay for the 2012 premium. Since we were late in paying, a small penalty was incurred. 

So careless of us. I must be too busy that I had forgotten all about it.

By the way, my husband bought way too many insurance policies.

    oh, you should have sign up for credit card auto debit for all the insurance premium, then you would not have to worry about the payments.. that's why i did, no hassle.. :)

    anyway, i don't wait for GE to send me those receipts.. we can always go online to grab the PDF copy or call-in the customer service to get them send the PDF to my email..

    Once a while the statement comes very late, sometimesvery early until we forget where we put too. The best is received soft copy through email.

      When the file stay in our box for months unless we delete it. Rather received letter, put one place and we forget where we put also got problem later.

      I'm a Unicef donor, every month debit from my account. But still I didn't received my statement yet. So i drop them an email regarding this, later they send me pdf copy. They even stated the original will send to me later. So use the pdf file to submit my tax comp.

    I guess the insurance policy has lapsed if you have forgotten to pay it after the 1 month grace period after the expiry date. Can they revive the lapsed policy just by having you pay a penalty fee? I did not know that a lapsed policy can be revived.

    I have heard of Maroon 5 but never really know about them until I started watching "The Voice" and came to know that one of the judge Adam Levine is the lead singer of Maroon 5. Are you a fan of Adam Levine?

    Maroon colour looks nice too. I guess people would think you purposely colour co-ordinated all the items that you wore and used that day. Did you receive any remarks from your staff about this?

    Too many insurance policies, and you tend to forget some of the overdue payment. I hope the penalty isn't too much.

      its not surprising if for gotten to pay the premium especially if its annual ones. Glad the policy not terminated.

      Anyway they should have sent you reminder mah....la....now cannot claim tax relief for that 2012 premium lo...rugi one year

    I observed so many available investments for our money and found that only insurance and foreign currencies are the best way to invest our savings.

Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down.
