My precious trophies
These are some of the trophies which I received when I was in teachers' training college. I am still keeping them. The first one,a, shows the scouts logo. Yes, I was elected as the Treasurer and the group leader by the advisor himself.
It was not easy being a treasurer. I was an industrious one whom was afraid by everyone. The moment we received our allowances, I was there to collect fees from my members. I used to keep an account of everything that we spent and I also had to sell t-shirts to my members and the juniors.
I was also a responsible leader as I always made sure that my people done their tasks well. I had been to scouts camps which I enjoyed myself very much. Such sweet memories..

The second trophy has my college logo. It's Maktab Perguruan Seri Kota. It was a trophy given to me for being a committee member of the English language Society.
The third one, c, is the only trophy that I got for involving myself in games. I took part in various games like badminton and table tennis. But I only got a trophy for netball.
Those were the days when I was trained to be a teacher. I have never regretted being one. I love teaching..
Nice trophys!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet, I can't even remember where I put my trophy duh!!! =]
ReplyDeleteI didn't bring my throphies along when I moved in with my hubby.

The 3rd trophy is special because it looks to be specially designed for netball events. Do you still play netball now?
ReplyDeleteoh, I don't play anymore..
DeleteYou must cherish your trophies very much for the memories they evoke in you for you to keep them for so long and to bring them with you. I left mine in my childhood home and I am not sure whether they were thrown away or not during spring cleaning as I do not live there anymore.
ReplyDeleteYou must be a very good teacher. Do you still keep in touch with any of your former students?

DeleteYerrrr! Why you love teaching??? I have been telling my wife to resign as the kids in all her classes are monkeys! They often pointed to the lecturers that their parents paid RM45K for their fees, so they expect royal treatments!
