Sin Eng Heong/Funny Mountain

My girl wanted to buy kaya puff for her friends in college, so we took her to Sin Eng Heong. The shop is opened even on a Sunday. When we reached there after our breakfast, there was already a queue waiting for the freshly baked kaya puff.

After a short while, it's my girl's turn.

Many people came out with loads of kaya puff.

Then, we walked over to the Funny Mountain Soya bean stall.
My girl bought a small bottle of soya bean plus cincau.
I bought a big bottle of soya bean unsweetened.
I used it to make soya bean agar-agar.

    I think I have been to both these shops in Ipoh a few years ago. Ipoh has many nice food.

      terablik me not so fond of the kaya puff but i love their what you call it...heong peang??? the ones with lotus, pandan, red bean fillings ones....tau makan but tarak tau name LOL.. malunya

      Must remmeber Sin Eng Heong, for their curry puffs. Usually if I go Ipoh, I'll definitely will go buy some egg tarts from a restaurant at town area, somewhere Yik Foong and McD.

    I have been drinking soya milk with blended vegetables for breakfast. I am trying it for a week as I heard it will clear up my skin complexion.

Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down.
