Food enjoyment.

My second girl loves food. Now that she's in Australia, she gets to try on all kinds of scrumptious food..

Dined at iL Ciao Ristorante Pizzeria, Canning Highway, Applecross.
Had Calzone iL Ciao pizza $25

But my girl in UK is rather different. She gets to fast on food..

Fasting food (full fast except water) for a week isn't easy,
especially when you see food on Facebook, Instagram or right in front of you!
All the temptations.. Glad Sunday is coming soon!
But dreading that the time flies too fast..
After Sunday, I'll be fasting lunch..
Wouldn't be that bad..

I can say throughout my fast,
my discipline and obedience have been put to test in many situations,
not forgetting temptations as well when I see food..
But all is well! *smiles*
Thank God for the strength and encouraging brothers and sisters in Christ!

My little girl is a bit different. She tries to save money by eating food that she got from home..

I spent zero money today~ She said.

so what did u eat today? I asked.

milo, oats, biscuit, bread, cereal. ah, all kinds of rubbish She answered.

As for me, I would spend on food but not crazily on super expensive food.
I wouldn't fast too as I love to eat.
I can't just take rubbish. I need proper meals at least once a day.

What about my boy?

He wants yummy food. He doesn't mind fast food everyday!
But I won't do that for him. I cook for him..

Yesterday's lunch prepared for my boy.
He loves fried fish.

  5. When I was studying in Uni, I was like your youngest daughter, I always save money on food. My "economy rice" (chap fan) then was only RM2 every meal because I make sure I take only a few vege dishes and very seldom take meat dishes.

  7. Your eldest daughter must be a very disciplined person. The hungry feeling is not easy to conquer and she can fast for such a long time and survive just on drinking plain water. Did she fast for religious reason?

  10. Why is your girl fasting? For religious reason?

I hope it's not for dieting.

Not eating proper food and eating too much processed food (biscuits, fast food) are not good for the long term.
