My Special Sunday

Yesterday was a special day for me. Firstly, I had to open the shop for business. The boss had gone to Taiping for QingMing. A short while later, I had to take my girl to the Perak Sundry Shops' Guild for the prize giving day. 

 
 Firstly, we had to write our shop's name and put a signature.
That entitled me a small amount of RM20.

Later, the ceremony started with the certificate, trophy and ang pow giving to achievers of STPM.
Then followed by the SPM achievers.
My girl got an ang pow of RM150.

We left the place early and went to buy salted chicken for my girl's nanny with the RM20.
It cost RM17 and nicely packed.

Went to her nanny's place and took a picture of her with my girl.

And also with the nanny's husband.

Went back to the shop and a customer was waiting for me to collect a gift on behalf of her girl.
Her girl had answered my question correctly on Chang Jiang facebook page.
A very simple question:
'Who can tell us when is our facebook first anniversary?'

After that, I quickly had my lunch and sent my girl to the railway station. 
She had to get back to her University College.

Went back to the shop and closed it. 
Got back home and quickly celebrated my shop's facebook page.

    oh, i just boarded the brand new KTM last Friday (after so many years trying to stay away from KTM).. boy, i was so impressed like "orang kampung masuk bandar".. nice coach like the KLIA Express and they even have the LED indicator on the train stop map!! first in Malaysia!! hahahaha~~

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
