My husband's oversea trips

Well, my husband hardly flies anywhere but recently he finally flew somewhere. The first time he ever flew was when my eldest girl was very young. He went to Quilin China. Of course, I didn't go with him as I had to take care of my girl then. But he didn't quite enjoy his trip as his mother was sickly then. His mum passed away in the year 1992.

He bought this jade grape plant for decoration.
I still keep it in the display closet.

This photo was taken in Quilin. That's the God of Longevity.

The second time he ever flew was when I was heavily pregnant with my boy. It's so many years ago. We went to Phuket during the Chinese New Year in 1997.

The third time was about ten years ago when he went to Cambodia. And he was unlucky then as our shop was burglarized on the very first night he was away. He swore that he would never leave his shop again.

Since then he hasn't been anywhere far.

But recently, I was surprised that he agreed to go on a trip organized by Fomec company. His best buddy managed to lure him in. So they went to Quangzhou.

It was a business trip and he must have enjoyed it. Good for him as finally he had the time to get away from work. Thus relieved his work stress.

  1. Good morning Wenn,

I guess you are happy that your husband went on a trip this year so that he can take a rest and relax.

  2. It must be traumatic for all of you when it was discovered that your shop was burglarized ten years ago when the big boss was away on a trip. Did the insurance cover all the loss at that time?

  3. So while the boss was on the trip, you must be extra busy having to take care of everything. Do take good care, Wenn.

  20. Your husband is cute and funny. I had to giggle a bit and sorry about this. I have a bit of his similarities as I read about him along your many posts! He is a very responsible man indeed!

  21. He didn't travel much does not mean that he has no time, no money or no interest. It has something to do with one's fate and Bazi calculations. I was told about this by a friend and I found it so true after checking on my Bazi on my life's undertakings.

  22. I am sure you would agree with me that travelling is good therapy! It widens our knowledge and understanding towards life for the better.

  23. I often asked friends and relatives who have traveled to many countries all over the world - which country was the BEST??? All replied USA!

So please tell your hubby to visit USA and forget about the other countries. LOL
