Pediasure Dinner

Last Sunday, after our late lunch at Dragon-i, I had to attend a dinner organised by Abbott Nutrition. My husband had to attend another dinner organised by the Perak Chinese Physicians' Association. Since there were two tickets, I brought along my staff, Lim. Actually, he picked me up so I didn't need to drive myself. 

The nutritionist gave a talk about nutrition and Pediasure (milk powder for children ages 1-10)

Then there was a deal..order Package A or B with discounts given 
plus another 1% which I got for my lucky dip at the entrance.

Our sales representative quickly sealed the order from us, Package B.
Of course, my staff had to call the boss first.

Then dinner started: herbal chicken soup

lobster dish

roasted piglet

There was Q & A session..

My staff managed to answer a question and he won the Portable Power Supply.
But he gave it to me..

as he already received this mobile power bank as his door gift. 
I have mine too.

    You get some nice perks from your vendors! The dinner looks good but the roasted piglet would not go over very well here in the US. We like our food to not look much like the animal it came from!

    all the dishes looked good really, not just simply hantam a few and then get people to attend.. and door gift is kind of cool and practical too!! i like this..

    the portable power bank is indeed very useful.. i carry one with me (which i redeem with credit card points) all the time when i'm outside.. just in case my phone runs flat of battery, the battery really comes to the rescue..

    Your staff Lim is so clever to answer the question correctly and get the gift. He is nice too to give the gift to you when he could just keep it for himself although he has the door gift but he could have kept both. You must be a very good boss to have such a nice staff.

      power bank very useful leh especially with all the smartphones and camera. Battery very fast flat so need powerbank

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
