A surprise visit

Yesterday, I received a call from my friend. She told me that she's coming over to my place soon. She just started her journey then from KL..

So I gave her some directions so that she could find my place when she exited at Jelapang. About two hours later, she called and told me that she was somewhere near Billion. Oh, she was so near already. I directed her to my place and within seconds she had reached.

She bought some herbal soup packets, dried longan, kei chee and red dates. 
Of course, I gave her some discounts and the items totaled up to RM100.

They were in a hurry so we didn't manage to sit and chat for long. 
Since they didn't know the place to buy the Ipoh salted chicken, the boss led them there.

It was a pleasant surprise and a sweet one too as they came all the way just to buy from us..

    Wenn, I see your shop is packed with a lot of goodies. You must be having a wide range of products.

    So nice of your friend to go all the way to your shop and so nice of you to give her discounts. A good turn deserves another, eh?

    Yeah, I've heard a lot about the salt-baked chicken of Ipoh. It's quite difficult to get it here or perhaps I haven't really looked.

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
