Selamat Hari Raya

Chang Jiang organised a Hari Raya Decorative Items Contest recently. A winning gift is waiting to be given away to the grand winner.

 Only two contestants took part:
Angeline and Wenn

Angeline's handicraft was awesome and Chang Jiang was waiting for other competitors till the closing date. No one else seems to be interested so that means Angeline is the grand winner. Congratulations, Angeline! 

I supposed you won't be able to collect your prize from Chang Jiang. So I will post to you after the raya festival. Then you might have to acknowledge the receiving by posting it on Chang Jiang's facebook.

Well, only a consolation prize for Wenn. The other five consolation prizes were presented to Chang Jiang's Malay customers yesterday..

    My son is now in Khota Bahru and heading for some islands. He says it's beautiful and fascinating in Malaysia. He's taking buses everywhere. I'm amazed at all he's experiencing.

We visited the famous Harrods.. the Harrods building   the store's interior has an Ancient Egyptian theme... Harrods is a high-end department store located in Brompton Road in Brompton , in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea , London . The store occupies a 5-acre (20,000 m 2 ) site and has over one million square feet ( 90,000 m 2 ) of selling space in over 330 departments.   The Harrods motto is Omnia Omnibus Ubique—All Things for All People, Everywhere . Twin bananas

Today this cute little darling visited me. His grandparents brought him over for the very first time. He's so cute as he smiled readily. I was tempted to carry him and he was fine with that. Some babies don't like strangers.  I carried him and kissed his cheek several times..So adorable. Without hesitation, I gave him an ang pow. his granddad put him on the table and I took a shot of him.. When I went back home in the evening, I realized that the bunch of bananas at the altar has ripen. I brought the bunch to my shop and shared with my people. There was this particular twin bananas and my worker wanted them. She peeled them and I could see that they were adjoined all the way down. Well, old wives tale has it that those ladies who ate them would give birth to twins in future..
