My first Raya visit

This regular customer of mine sells nasi lemak and she used to invite me to her house for raya. But I never made it for two rayas already. I actually didn't know where she stayed.

But a month ago, I was surprised to realize that she has shifted to my neighbourhood. Since then she couldn't go to my shop anymore as she has to look after her grandchildren. That means I didn't get any invitation from her this time.

But on the first day of raya, she confronted me when I was about to leave my home and asked, "Why you didn't come to my house?" I only apologized and said that I had to work full time since my workers had gone for holidays.

Never mind, so yesterday evening (the second day of raya), I went over to her place before I went back to work.

This gift was prepared earlier for fun and guess she was the recipient.

Her grandchildren hadn't seen me before but they were already so friendly.

A picture with her and her grandchildren.

I missed her nasi minyak, rendang ayam and ketupat.
She only served cookies on the second day.

I didn't take dinner earlier as I didn't cook so
I went out for a scrumptious chee cheong fun with vegetarian curry
at about 10.30pm!

Yummy!

Selamat Hari Raya, Kakak!

  8. You must make it next year then. Usually they open house on first day and you can have a taste of their delicious cooking and baking.

This year like previous years I been to one house. It is enough because I could not eat much after 1st house. Haha. They keep feeding you non stop with those food and soft drinks. Lol.
