Memorable Friday!
Friday is a special day for me as I get to come back from work earlier so that I can have dinner with my boy and girl. But this afternoon was more special as something happened right in front of our shop.
a customer's car was on fire
Can you see the small fire underneath?
The boss helped by splashing pails of water onto the car but
those kind people opened up its bonnet and
started pouring water onto the engine using the
those kind people opened up its bonnet and
started pouring water onto the engine using the
water hose from our shop.
Finally, it's safe!
Thank God all's fine..
Later in the evening, we went our for dinner at Sushi King..
my boy's chicken dish: it's piping hot and the raw egg
easily cooked when poured onto the hot plate.
my girl's mixed bento
But what's mine?
Can you guess?
Hop over to Scrumptious and find out..
Thank goodness for quick action!

ReplyDeleteyes, I bought the number and also our shop's number..
DeleteWenn got kena Empat Ekor?????
DeleteThank God no one was hurt... i never thought kenari will end up like that, the owner must have not taken good care of the car cause normally this will happen to proton cars only.
ReplyDeleteprobably somewhere went wrong..
Deletewow that was a scary encounter,
ReplyDeleteperhaps he forgot to out water on his car before travelling
that's why it went over heat
perhaps the engine had overheated..
Deletegood thing you husband came to the rescue, and the fire
ReplyDeletewas out before anything worse happened
yes, luckily he and the others were around to help..
Deletebut would it be okay for his engine to be wet as well?

DeleteLong time we dint go sushi king...
ReplyDeleteme too so that's why we decided to dine there again..
DeleteGosh, I wonder why the car caught fire suddenly. What happened?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea..will ask her when she comes to our shop again..
DeleteGood afternoon Wenn...
ReplyDeletegood evening, Sharon..
DeleteOh dear, the car on fire...
ReplyDeleteit was so scary..
DeleteThe japanese foods makes me drooling as i loves japanese foods... hehe...
ReplyDeleteit was a satisfying dinner..
DeleteHave a great weekend ahead...
ReplyDeletegoodnight and sleep well..
DeleteGood afternoon Wenn,
ReplyDeleteSo frightening to see the car engine on fire. Any idea what caused the fire?
not sure..will get the answer soon..
DeleteI think the radiator la...lupa see temperature when driving. Maybe water dried already still didnt notice
DeleteI suppose that's the problem..
DeleteSo good of the boss to help them and provide them with water. Will the water spoil the car engine? I guess better spoil than having the fire reach the fuel tank and then the car blows up.
ReplyDeletethinking of the car blowing up was so scary..
DeleteNice to eat out with the family once in a while. I like to eat Japanese food too.
ReplyDeleteoh, we eat out at least once a week..
DeleteMay you have a good weekend Wenn! Do you spend your weekends differently from your weekdays?
ReplyDeleteoh, everyday is the same except Fridays and Sundays..
DeleteOh, nearly forget about this.
ReplyDeleteThank you Wenn for sending me the vegetarian recipe book. As I can't read much chinese and also I don't cook at all, I have given the book to my mother. When we go 1u, will go to the shop and see whether there is anything we like to buy and cook according to the recipe book.
Thanks again.
great..
Deletebtw, the recipe book has english wordings..
Yes, it does. :)
Deleteoh gosh!
ReplyDeleteIt almost becomes a stunt show and your hubby becomes the real life hero.
Thanks goodness that there wasn't any explosion.
yes, I was worried that it might explode..
DeleteMe too. And sorry for the spelling mistake. It should have been "Thank goodness..."
DeleteOmg!!! That's so dangerous, luckily everybody is fine!!! =]
ReplyDeleteyes, thank god everything was fine..
DeleteThis is scary that the car caught fire with smoke. luckily no explosion! If that happened outside other shops, I think the boss there won't help lah! Your boss is good man!
ReplyDeleteI often saw cars getting caught in fire with big explosions in KL. It caused miles of traffic jams. I am puzzled why many car owners are not aware about the water levels in their radiator.
ReplyDeleteI still like to eat at Sushi King sometimes although their food does not taste 100% Japanese style. I am okay with that.
ReplyDeleteAll the Japanese people in KL refused to eat there as they said the food served has been so modified until lost its origin. What craps!
Hmm, long time didn't eat Sushi King already.
ReplyDeleteGosh luckily no explosion.
ReplyDeleteLuckily everyone is safe
